Thanks for the tips. Being type II diabetic, I have the hydration and nutrition well under control. There will be three of us on the 1500, and it may happen this year! Might incorporate Sturgis into the mix.

 

I did a SS 1000 earlier this month, and am headed to Rapid City this weekend. Thinking of doing an SS 1000/Bun Burner 1500 combination (1000 miles the first day, 500 the second). Anybody have any thoughts on this ride?

If I do it, I'll have my 15 year old daughter along as passenger. I know I've read some of you have had your wives along for Iron Butt rides. What about a BB 1500?

Riders will be just me and one other guy, who also did the SS 1000 a couple of weeks ago.

 

six of us did the saddle sore yesterday.1105 miles is what my bike said.i had the lowest milage.dont know if people didnt reset there odomiters at our start point or if the speedos are that far off.we were gone 18.5 hours took aprox 1 hour for lunch.kept the speed close to legal.left fargo nd at 3:45 am went s.to sioux falls sd then across to spearfish for lunch.up hwy85(ran into construction with a piolet car).took 85 up to belfield nd.then back to fargo.i was on my 08 roadking.to be quite honest i am and the whole day less sore than if id have rode my heritage to sturgis.did start getting pretty tired towards end of day.the worst part for me was having to pee and not being able to stop when i wanted.i made it though and glad i percerviered.
