Did it a few years ago. It was impressive. Back then, the route was from Joliet Speedway to Marseilles via Rt 80. Rt 80 was basically shut down for hours. I believe they are taking back roads in recent year. I do stop at the memorial a few time a year when I am in the area. I ride out that way occasionally to eat at Boondocks or Snug Harbor, or Fat Daddy's. It is a great cause. I highly recommend doing it once, but plan on a long slow ride and possibly overheating the bike.

That is why my friends and I are going to just ride around starved rock for a bit. Stop in Marsielles to hang out for a bit and ride out. We want to ride. I did it a couple years ago when I got the street bob, and it was a parade down 80. I had an old man on a FLHT almost rearend me a few times. So I choose not to participate in the actual run. But we are going to visit.
