Yep,
Today's the opening day of Laconia Bike Week, and HERE COMES THE RAIN!!
I've always wondered why they don't move Laconia Bike Week to August when the weather is dry, or October when the foliage is in full swing. But then again, New Hampshire has no trouble pulling in tourism in the later half of the summer and fall, just for those reasons. Hell, they even effectively sell winter as a ski destination.
Then I realized some marketing genius sold us an outdoor activity right square in the middle of their rainy season, and filled a time frame they couldn't give away otherwise. No way in hell are they going to move it.

Weather is suppose to break after the weekend so hopefully Monday and thru the week will be decent. You will have plenty to do even if your going solo. You can ride to and park at the Weirs Beach area and see all the events and sights. You can travel thru the White Mountains and the Cangamangus Highway which both areas are beautiful.
