Heading out in 72 hrs. From central Ct. too sandusky, I'm cool with the road trip, trouble is rent a trailer for the scoot or throw it in the back of the truck. I measured it , yeah it will go in no problem, trouble is inviting the highway patrol. I'll explain, my truck has a aerodynamic air foil. When the tailgate is down it obstucts the license plate. I figure that will invite the fuzz too pull me over. whatdya all think I should option?? the trailer is 130.00 for the week. btw.

 

The real questions are "if you get a ticket, how much will it cost?" Also "is it possible to get more than 1 ticket on the trip?"
I don't know the answers, depends on how good a mood the LEOs are in I guess...

Gonna miss that one , we gotta leave on fri. Ct. truck driving championships, "truck rodeo" on sat.june 12th ,I have too defend my title I was state champion last year in twins. Oh well, got to make up for it during the week I guess.

 

Throw it on the truck. I've never been pulled over because the tag couldn't be seen. Think about all the people that pull enclosed trailers, boats, and campers. You can't see the tag when you're pulling those........

 

I can't speak for the other states but I seriously doubt that Ohio LEO will have an issue with it. Ohio Troopers can be ****** at times but from my observations living here all my life most are very tolerant of bikers provided your not on a rocket.

The small town LEO's are hit and miss. Some are cool and others hate bikes. Where you are going the people are greatfull to have the bikers.

 

well my bike isn't exactly jacque cousteau. They are calling for rain in Ohio when we get there . mother ******!! I know that effin bike would fit. now the ol lady is packing like she's gonna stay there , hhmmmm thats a thought? Nah fk it any way, Time to rent a trailer. I don't want too. but it will keep the ol lady dry lol. Just kidding, really, maybe not ,lol we'll see.

 

You're staying at a water park resort for christ sake... Throw her in her suit and put her in the back of the truck with the bike. That way your chit can ride in the can and be dry when you get there.
