Took a run up to Maine a week ago. I only have a few pictures as I am not very good at taking the time to do that but I have to recommend this ride. From Philadelphia I took the turnpike to Binghamton, New york and headed east on 88 to 7 outside of Troy, NY to get to North Adams, Mass where I picked up route 2 across the state - Great Ride. I stayed in York Maine which is just above Kittery - Lots of friendly pubs and a good base for daily rides around the region. The longest run from there was up to Acadia National park and back. I took route 1 up and the Maine turnpike back. The ride around the park is spectacular. I have a few pics from on top of Cadillac Mountain and one in front of a cool looking bridge. My pictures are lacking but the memories of a great ride will persist and is recommended.

that is a beautiful place. I live near, relatively speaking, and have driven through Acadia National Park many time. Not on my bike yet, although that is on the to do list!! thanks for sharing the pix
