Default Johnstown, Altoona and State College, Pa.

Was there last summer as I was fascinated with the nice rolling hills and mountains. Visited Johnstown National Flood Museum and rode on the Incline Plane to dine at City View and Grill. Of course, I stopped at all of the 3 Harley dealers to pick up T-Shirts.

Would like more input from you Guys on the back roads much rather than the main roads to enjoy the country scenario and what's there to see.

Horseshoes Railroad in Altoona, Penn Cave, Denny's Beer Barrel Pub (Known for their crazy large sized hamburgers) in Clearfield and among other places you can suggest me and my lady to visit ?.

Thanks,

Thorey

Flight 93 memorial is over there... I rode around over in the Johnstown area last summer. I am no help as I don't remember the names of all the roads we were on but there is some nice riding in that area.

Been there and done that. Am waiting for Flight 93 Memorial/Museum to be built sometime in 2011/2012 and will go back again once it's finished. Thanks for trying to help me out.

Been too long since I lived in State College to offer firsthand recommendations, I can barely find my way around when I go back. However, try this site, http://www.pa-mag.com/2009/04/15/int...touring-in-pa/ for some good rides.
