Starting to plan a trip out to the Smokey Mountains and also do the Blue Ridge Parkway. Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a good camp area/location. Any help would be appreciated.

 

There are a couple real good ones. If your camping I'd suggest a place in Tellico Plains Tn called Hunts Lodge, if you want a nicer cabin. Then I'd look into Tellico Lodge or in Robbinsville The Two Wheel Inn. All are bike friendly.

Kickstand Lodge and the Ironhorse are two nice Campsites located in Stecoah. Both Motorcycle only. Easy reach of the Dragon, 28, and the Cherohala. Riders Roost is another but further North off the BlueRidge near Boone.

 

+1 on Kickstand Campground.. I know Mo.. you should too.. old school kickback place..
