One of the news stations was reporting last night that they estimated nearly 500,000 bikes in the Pentagon parking lot alone. And there were definitely thousands downtown. The parade lasted until almost 5:00.

This was my first time going and I had a great time. Arrived at the Pentagon around 11 and pulled out about 2:45. If I go next year I'll most likely be parking somewhere to watch.

John,

I stopped by the booth and said hi... I was the 101st Vet that was asking about Army Warrant Officer coins.

What we do every year is arrive at the Pentagon at 0700 and park the bikes. We then take a walk to Thunder Alley and then on to the Vietnam Memorial. Then we head to LBJ park and the wives show up in a support vehicle (read Surburban) and we do a tailgate party until about 12:30....Then we head to the bikes and usually we start moving about 1315 - 1330..... We do at the end of is peal off and head back to LBJ park to pick up the support vehicle and head to the house. This was my 6th ride. The past two I had to travel back to VA from Germany.
