I wouldn't run hwy 93 to kingman unless I was in a hurry. If you get off of 93 just past wickenburg onto 89N and run that up the Yarnell Hill to Prescott for lunch(Whiskey Row?)take 89 all the way to Ash Fork then I40W to Seligman and ride one of the longest sections of Rt66 thats left west all the way to Kingman. Then I'd do the day ride down thru Oatman all the way to Needles CA then up the needles hwy to Laughlin NV and back 68 to Kingman AZ.

There is an exit at Ash Fork/89, Crookton Rd that is an unmolested stretch of Rt 66 leading into Seligman. Very few travel it, almost all get on at Seligman and miss those miles which are great with some twisty's and elevation up before dropping down into Seligman.

Geezer and I had talked about this and he may end up missing this stretch in favor of time to do the Big Hole which I totally understand. Even so, between Oatman, Grand Canyon and Sedona should be a Hell of a ride!

Thanks guys, for all the comments/suggestions. I'm just doing 93 to Kingman, and then might be meeting up with a guy from Kingman that afternoon. I'm really looking forward to this. Decided to just do the super slab the next day, all the way to Williams, so I don't have to leave the south rim before I'm ready to go, just so I can get to Sedona before dark.
