My Harley on a Cruise Ship
#21
Looks to me like she is more scared of his reaction\the noise coming out of his mouth than the ride itself.

Just back from the 'ETA' motorcycle cruise to St. Maartin, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico... Amazing time..
There was about 18 bikes on board.. Really amazing to ride these islands on your own bike. Organized very well.. quickly on and off the ship each day.. GREAT rides with stops for lunch, beach etc..
Best vacation I've ever had.
Search ETA motorcycle cruise on google.. they do about 6 - 8 cruises per year.

We are sailing with our Harley too!
Timbo240, thanks for the information on this type of cruise, we have a 12 night booked for 2011 leaving from Cape Liberty, we can't wait. It's nice to hear some feedback on how it works. Do you or anyone else know why we are unable to view attachement pictures? What are we doing wrong? It's like the Forum won't allow it or something...would love to see your pic's...Anyway, thanks for the info...

Cost for our trip was $1500 per person, that was 8 nights on the cruise ship and 1 bike, balcony room. I believe thats about $200 - $300 more than if you picked up the same cruise on the internet.
Many of us had balcony's and opened up the ajoining doors.. quiet a party throughout the week.

I was on a Royal Carribean Cruise in December 08 on the Navigator of the Seas and was very impressed with everything about the journey. I had low expectations starting out and was pleasantly surprised. One of my fondest memory was sleeping with the sliding door open and the temperature of the air was perfect. I can't remeber when I've slept better ever. This looks like something to definately add to the bucket list. Thanks for sharing!

Prices are on their website.. We paid 1500 per person, 2 of us.. The only additional charge was $150.00 for fuel, etc on the islands. If we wanted to bring both bikes, it would have been an additional $150.00. checking out the internet rates for the same cruise, they were about $200 or so cheaper without the bike package. Obviously ETA gets the rooms for a very discounted rate, otherwise they wouldn't make any money. Seemed like a good deal to me.. But you have to remember there's alot of cost getting your bike to the cruise ship!! We trailered from Canada. Worth every penny.
No idea why some of you can't view the pics?

The formal dining room was the only place that had a dress code. We went there once and didn't care for it. You can get the same food at the buffet, or your room. I wore nice clothes for two hours out of the week. I wore swimming trunks and sandals the rest of the time. I hardly ever wore a shirt of any kind.
I plan to do another cruise sometime, and I will have less clothes with me than what will fit in one saddle bag.

The boys trailered the bikes down (and rode south florida keys for a couple days).. Wives flew down.. so they brought the suit cases..
Nice thing is the seating is arranged with all the bikers, so the whole suit and tie thing (overrated) is replaced with fancy Harley stuff.. gotta love it.
