Riding in The Black Hills

We stayed in motels so not sure about camping. I'm sure you could google Cody Wyoming campgrounds and find something. We stayed one night in Mamouth, one night in Old Faithful, and three nights in Jackson Hole Wyoming.
I can't remember how far Cody is from Yellowstone so that is something you will have to find out. Cody and Jackson Hole are both fun communities.
Good luck.

My favorite place to stay is Hidden Valley Deadwood.
Needles Hwy, Iron Mountain road from south to north, Rushmore, Spearfish canyon are all well worth the trip. The only thing you should realize is that you may get some snow that time of year as well. You won't get snowed in for days, but you might see some good snow at the higher elevations. By mid day it would probably be 80 degrees again. Just so you are prepared.
It is a great trip and always a good time. I prefer to be in the Black Hills when the rally isn't going on just because the riding is so much better.
