Yep, I have to say Ohio has a lot of all kinds of riding adventures to be had. Rode part of 555 yesterday and it is great. Rode part of 78 too and its great too. I want to ride it back east to the 'Big Muskie' then take 516 south to the river. I've heard that little stretch called 'Ohio's Dragontail' although 555 has its share of twisties as well.

big muskie is cool to see if you have never seen it was really impressive when it was all together one big machine.
me and my dad on a ride down there two years ago i think.

Actually, the Big Muskie was cut up for scrap several years ago. One of the buckets is on display at Miner's Park just east on McConnelsville on Rt. 78. I think that you are speaking of Ohio Rt. 536 east of Woodsfield. It rubns southeast into Hannibal. It IS quite crooked and there are a lot of driveways off of the roadway. On my last trip across it, I experienced numerous places where gravel and cinders had washed out across the roadway. Marbles make my butt pucker. Travel safely.

That is one thing I miss about Ohio. There are places that the riding just cant be beat. I lived there 49 of my 52 years. I have seen Big Muskie too. I remember as a kid, we went and watched it when they moved it across the road to another pit. I was too young to remember exactly where but I do remember seeing it. We try to make it back on vacations whenever we can and always bring the scoot. Sometimes the wife will follow in the car. My friends and family would never forgive me if we came without the bike in the summer.
