Default Lombardi Cancer Run

The run started at a Harley Davidson dealership in Milwaukee. The wife and I go up there about 9:30am and there was about 100 bikes. We got signed up and had the pancake breakfast. 10:45am and the ride is about to start. The bike count went from 100 to 220 by the time we were to leave. The whole pack left at the same time. There was a police escort out to the interstate and they actually shut it down so all the bikes could make it on all at once. We were in the middle of the pack and it was an awesome site from there. I can only imagine what it looked like from the other side of the road. Cagers werent to bad on the way up. They only moved into the bike formation when they had to and then moved out as quick as possible. At the exit in Greenbay the local LEOs stopped traffic so we could all get off without stopping. The party was at Lambough Field. The food, beer and band were all great.

Now the wife and I both forgot our camera and were pretty disappointed about it. I stopped a guy at the Packer Stadium and explained the situation and asked him if he would sent me some of his pics. He said no problem and got my e-mail address. We stayed there about 3 hours and then headed to the casino for the night. We pull up and there was a lady standing by a RK. She and her husband were staying there also. We were chatting and her husband walks out. Guess who it is??? The same guy I asked about the pictures. Small world. Had a good laugh with them about it. Real nice people.

The wife and I rode back this morning with no problems.

The Milwaukee HOG chapter ran the run and did a great job. We will definatly be back for it next year.

We took Hwy 41 up to Greenbay. We took Hwy 43 on the way back today.

The run raised $28,000 for a worthy cause.

Will post some pics when I get them.
