Default Head phones, legal or not?

Just wondering if it's legal or not. I've been thinking of getting rid of my quadzilla and going back to the windshield.

Smile uh...

Going on the subject line I guess I can only answer that "it depends", as for the rest of the original post I really am not familiar with quadzilla nor how that sends you back to the windshield and what any of that has to do with headphones. John

Just saying that I won't have a stereo when I sell the fairing. And am asking if it's legal to wear headphones while riding. Thanks Goodies

Looking at the amadirect link, most states do not have restrictions against headphones in a helmet. I wonder if earphones are looked at in the same way.

I wear earplugs on long rides and would love to get a set of fitted earphones. I will watch this thread to see if anyone has any first hand knowledge.

Hard to see head phones under a lid? I bet if it is against the law it would be something that was tacked on after you were pulled over for something like speeding or such.

I have some mini speakers or flush speakers like on the old walkmans that I use but not for tunes more for the V1 (radar detector) when I ride the Vmax. I run the wire under my jacket. It's hard to keep that thing below the legal limit so the radar is a must.

I do know a girl who got a $89 ticket at UF in Gainesville for listening to her Ipod with headphones on her bicycle. Now that's harsh. I bet it's the same for a bike.

Got the mini speakers from.....

I have worn a head set under my halfshell in 39 states and never been bothered. I have to admit though, some of your states went by in blink.

Cool Not aware...

26 Yr. RETIRED LEO. Not aware nor ever been aware of any such law against ear plugs or head phones. Deaf people drive all the time without license restrictions. just my observations, check your local laws...
