go 2 hours at a pop and stop to ****/smoke/eat a snack.
or ride for 3 hours, stop and get off the bike for an hour and have a nice lunch and a good stretching of the legs, and then get back on and finish.
6 hours isn't a road trip, it's a ride, you'll be fine

My wife wants to ride with me occasionally, so I don't know if a Sporty would be satisfactory for a two-up ride of three or four hours, much less six. But for a nimble, good-looking bike I think the Sporty is ideal.
I've always loved the lean look of the Sporty, and often wondered whether or not to make it my first Harley. I'd like to know how the ride goes.

My friend rode a Nightster on a 22-day 9000+ mile trip to Alaska in 2008. The front suspension was ruined but other than that he had no troubles.
You'll be fine. Go for it!

you will be stopping a handful of times for gas. just stop every 100 miles, get off, walk around for a few minutes... gas up and go.
