TX Hill Country Ride... Photos...
This was our 2009 Dixon Wild Hog Ride 2 signed up and both made it to the event (ha ha~!)... We had a great time riding through the Hill Country.
If you haven't experienced the Hill Country of TX - it's worth the trip to spend a week just riding the roads.
Here are some photos of our adventures...
1) Heading out
2) At McKinney Falls State Park in Austin
3) Our Austin, TX Home
4)McKinney Falls / Upper Falls
5)Just acres and acres of solid rock~!

Grew up in Austin from 1960-1968 - Lanier High School (Class of 68). Austin is still nice but It has really grown - Rode 2222 on my Honda out to Bull Creek and Lake Travis a 1000 times "back in the Day" Thanks for bringing back some very nice memories - I still visit Austin from time to time - I will be back this spring/summer for a class party - Its a little to 'Big' for me now..

It's funny you mention that... before you get to McKinney Falls you cross the River. We went out to get a bite to eat that night and on the way back it was kinda cool... then we hit the Humidity of the River and instantly gained a nice convulsing shiver from the "Humid" cold. People who see our temperatures don't realize the effect of the Humidity vs. a "Dry" cold... it is very different and it DOES get cold here! Maybe not a hand throbbing kill you cold but it does get cold...
