Rode in from Raton NM to OKC yesterday to end my 8 day trip to Colorado. I covered 3000 miles while I was gone and had a blast. Weather was dicey at points, got rained on 5 of the 7 days at some point. Usually just late afternoon showers in the mountains. The last 100 miles coming home were in a torrential downpour but I made it in. Temperatures ranged from 37 one morning in Salida to mid 70's . It was still a little early to see the color's change, but there were a few spots where you could see it beginning to change.Here is the itinerary I followed.

Day 1- OKC to Raton NM. via I-40, 270, 412, 64
Day 2- Raton NM to Durango Co. via I-25, 160
Day 3- Durango Co. to Montrose Co. via 550, Montrose to Four Corners via 550, 62, 145, 160, Four Corners to Durango via 160
Day 4- Durango Co. to Salida Co. via 160, 149, 50
Day 5- Salida Co to Loveland Co. via 24, 91, I-70, 40, 34
Day 6- Loveland Co. to Rifle Co. via I-25, 14, 40, 13
Day 7- Rifle Co to Raton NM via I-70, 82, 24, 50, 69, I-25
Day 8- Raton Nm to OKC via the previous route

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. There is some real beautiful ridin there. When I was there last, I enjoyed the ridin in Telluride and Silverton.

 

Those were a couple of my favorite places too. The ride over the Million Dollar Highway is incredible.
