I rode it last summer. It's a nice ride. A bit boring at times, but nice. Not a lot of thrills, but there are several historic sites to stop at and "reflect" upon our past. If you go to Natchez - make sure yout tour some of the old Antibellum (sp) homes. They are neat!!! Oh - if you have some extra time, check out the battleground at Vicksburg. That place is awesum.

As others have said.....not the most exciting ride.........But definately in all my rides in the U.S. & Canada......the most peaceful.....
Stop and get a map at one of the Trace tourist posts and take a pit stop at some of the historical pulloffs.............
Have a safe and relaxing ride............

Can't help you with "must see" stuff, but my choice for "must ride" is definitely the Nashville end. As for the southern end, you can set it on cruise control and drift off to sleep.
This is a really nice bridge with a great scenic view. (The Natchez Trace is on top of the bridge.) Don't go over the edge.
It's a long way down.
I think the speed limit is 45 mph in this section. I think I've got it pegged right on 45 when I took this shot. It's sort of like putting ice cream in front of a little kid and telling him not to eat it. Be careful. If the cops catch you doing this kind of stuff, things could get nasty.
Here's another shot going over a curved bridge at about 45 mph.
I saw a photo of this double S curve on the inside cover of the March/April 2004 issue of HogTales magazine. Once I saw that, I was hooked. It took me two years, but I finally got to ride it. Sorry about the bad lighting in the photo. I was running short on time and had to run past the sunset hours.
