Just finished a great one day ride (220 miles). Started in Stecoah, NC (Kickstand Lodge Motorcycle Camp Ground). Headed out on Hwy 28 to Hwy 143 towards Robbinsville. Stayed on Hwy 143, which is the Cherohala Skyway. Hwy 143 becomes Hwy 165 at the TN stateline. Rode to Tellico Plains picked up Hwy 360 to Vonore, Hwy 411 to Maryville, Hwy 321 to Little River Road in the Smokies and Hwy 441 to Cherokee, NC., picked up Hwy 74 to Hwy 28 back to the campground.

I ride the mountains a lot and this is one of my favorites.

Am interested in more rides in the Smokies, so if you know of any please let me know.

That is a great route lbnich, have rode it a few times. Maybe we can hook up for some rides, I'm in western N.C. Couldn't help but notice your profile and where you live. Lots of good OLD FARTS in that area here on the forum that like to ride. Give me a hollar sometime.

Leaving Saturday morning from NY to NC. Planning on staying in the area and riding a couple of those loops when I get there. I should get there around Wed or Thurs.
