anyone have any reccomendations of places that might be a must see in those areas? im headed out there a week from today to go to the york factory and gettysburg...any input?

 

Yes , when you get into Gettysburg , the main road is Rt. 15 after you have seen everything in Gettysburg you might want to ride out of town past the battle fields and keep looking on the right and you will see the Boyds Bear store. This is a really neat place , huge barn that has 3 floors of neat fun. It is a very nice place to just stop in a visit but they have great food too..

How much time do you have? Where you comin' from? There are just plain great scenic rides, north & west of there. I live up near PA Grand Canyon -- great stop. I know where you can watch hang gliders. Elk County PA has the largest herd of uncaged, free roaming elk, east of Colorado (estimated 600 elk. Almost always see a few when I'm there.) Stuff like that. Go to whichever search engine you use, type in pa wilds, and click on Road Trips. Just great riding.
