Default Taking video on the bike...advice??

The wife will be taking video and still pictures while on our trip to the Smokies this weekend. Any advice from those who have done this before? We will be riding The Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, etc and I really want some good video from this trip so any tips you can pass along to us would be great

Thanks! Mark

Use a lanyard / neckstrap as to not lose the device. Make sure the device has good image stabilization...not just reduced resolution and faster shutter speeds.

I have had a problem with vibration, to one degree or another, regardless of any handlebar mount I have fabricated. My video currently up on both video section and road trip section now was done with a what I refer to as my "dorky" mount...velcroed and bungeed to helmet side. Take a look and see what you think...click on signature if you don't want to read thread and videos are part one and part two. I have had someone on back film too..but somehow it ends up being too "busy"....it is difficult to shoot except at a very steady speed . The dorky mount is my solution...use the big black velcro tape available at wally world in fabric area.
