I'm heading out on a plane on Saturday, then riding back that day (leaving the STL about 2 probably- I've ridden a Honda Shadow Spirit 750 for the past year, and am a little aprehensive about the trip back. I've never ridden a Harley for one, and I'm picking up a Rocker which I hear can be a little different to ride. I'm also very excited because I'm a big dude (6'4", 245) and the 750 just wasn't enough. I'll be toting jeans and a jacket with a full faced helmet (leaving the half-bucket at home since bugs to the face for 7 hours sounds rough). I've never ridden this long/far... any tips? I'll ride the bike around on side streets for a little until I'm comfortable, I suppose.
