Do you really want to sleep with the bike? I mean, I know it's a Harley, but, hell, it's still a bike.

Also, consider that it will smell like gasoline and whatever else you rode through all night (seriously, bugs f'in stink when you get enough of them).

Then, there's that giant heat sink that'll suck the heat right out of you on a cold night.

If that isn't enough, who wants to share their tent with 3 gallons of gasoline? I know, we're not supposed to have candles and whatnot in tents for fire safety, but why bring the gasoline into the tent?

Also, that's a whole lot of tent to pack. My tent weighs in at 3 pounds and packs smaller than a football and my ground tent is about 3 pounds 10 ounces and not too much bigger.

All in all, the HD tent with garage looks nifty and I see it might be kinda nice, but it really strikes me as a solution to a non-problem that creates problems of its own. I don't think it's a bad idea or a bad tent, but, to me, it just doesn't seem like it fills a real need.
So, you haven't tried this tent?

I have set it up and played with it to check it out. I, personally, would not buy the tent.

I've used a Eureka Timberline 4 man tent for years. 4-man is an exaggeration - it sleeps 2 with gear pretty well and fits into tour pak. The problem for me is all the other stuff - ground cloth, sleeping bags, and mats that take up too much space travelling 2-up.
