Will be the first decent little trip i take on the new sporty. Im riding down the my mustang buddy's their taking the cars and im taking the bike. Will be leaving july 23rd and staying through the 26th. Were camping at fontana villeage. If anyone will be down on these dates please shoot me a pm would like to meet some of the members. Ill be riding from central ky. around the mamouth cave area.

 

Headed down there in a couple weeks and cant wait.

Don't try the dragon on the weekend. If you have to do it early in the morning.

We are going to hit the dragon first thing on a tuesday morning so I am hoping the traffic wont be to bad then. Then going to continue and may or may not do the Hell Bender then continue on the cherohola skyway.

 

that sounds like a trip i might be interested in. i live in Ga and dont have to many younger people to ride with (im 25)... let me check with work, maybe ill meet you and hopefully some others there.

 

Doing the Dragon on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning early sounds like a good plan...

 

I'm heading to the Dragon on June 16 from NJ w/at least one other rider. We're taking our time getting down there & will arrive on the 17th. From what I've read, it & the Cherohala Skyway are great, memorable roads where it's best to pay attention to the asphalt & not the scenery. Looking forward to it!
