Welcome to the forum! Keep the reports coming. My wife and I hit a lot of the towns and road you've written about on a regular basis. Some pretty good back road riding in SE SD and NW IA.

You could go to Otho, IA. Otho pub, home of the loaded hash browns.

Welcome to the forum. You obviously write well, but I was wondering about the enormous gap in your blog. I almost didn't go to the bottom. I also love going to little out of the way spots to eat. I stay away from chain restaurants with a passion.

Located in the "Flint Hills" Cassidy, Kansas. Riders meet at the cafe the last Sunday of each month. It's about 40 miles east of Wichita, off the Ks. State Turnpike I-35. Scenic ride from Cassidy to Council Grove Ks. on hwy 177.

Great blog. I also enjoy the hole in the wall places to eat. Best food and people in all the world.

Not sure why there is that gap--blogging is like motorcycling for me. New and not always sure what I'm doing.
