Has anyone ridden Mineral King in Cali.

A few years ago I had occasion to help a relative build a log home in California. I was amazed at the beauty of the area, and think it would be a great place to ride. Just wondering if any has ridden this area and what they thought? Its maybe 70 miles northeast of Fresno in the area of the Sequoia Natoinal Forest. The place we were at was called Silver City, it was gorgeous! Has anyone ever ridden Mineral king road from Three Rivers to Silver City? What other rides are recommended in this region? Appreciate any input.
