Me and my youngest girl are planning a 4 day memorial day trip to arkansas. We have the route planned except for day 2. We will be camping at Robbers Cave state park in Wilburton Ok and the next night in Eureka Springs and would like to find an interesting route to arrive there. We will be riding Highway 7 on the 3rd day so will probably stay in the eastern ok/western ark for the day 2 part. Anyone have any suggestions on route?

I-540 north out of Ft Smith. Exit to 170 and Devils Den Park. Then back to 540 to Rodgers and 62 to Eureka.

 

I'd take Hwy 270 East out of Wilburton which then changes into Hwy 83. Take 83 into Arkansas and hit Hwy 71 South at Hartford. Then about 8 miles will be Hwy 23 North, I'd take that all the way up to Eureka. Stay the night in Eureka and the next morning take Hwy 62 East to Harrison where you can get on Hwy 7 South. Ride it all the way to Hot Springs.

If you have some extra time on day 2, I'd take Hwy 12 West off of 23 into Rogers and pay a visit to Pig Trail HD. Then you could take Hwy 62 East from Rogers to Eureka.
