Yah. There are about 3 of those bridges on the Alaska highway. The longest is at Teslin in the Yukon, but they are planning on replacing the deck with cement. But if you do go over one, just take it easy, about 30-35 mph and do expect to feel your **** end slide back and forth. Just DON'T fight it, go with the flow and keep a steady speed and all will be OK. I've been across them numerous times, but I still remember the FIRST time.

 

We have them on the Gulf Coast. I was glad when they replaced the one on I-10 across the Pensacola River. That thing was crazy hitting it at 70. A lot of wrecks on that before they finally got rid of it. Then in more recent years when they built the bridge across Biloxi Bay they put in another one.

The grid surface is larger though so it's not bad at 65 mph.
