The wife and I went up to Ft Mountian on a whim, she surfs the net and finds us a ride to take. It was awsome. As usual, the destination came in second to the trip. Great roads and beautiful scenery. My heart skiped a beat when we saw this sign!

Nice ride up through that area, I've ridden through there several times both from the Dalton side and Elijay,, there's a restaurant in Elijay that we've eaten at a few times that had really good food,,when I can think of think of the name I'll post it.

 

I have my brother in law and wife coming to ride for a weekend in Sept. I'm looking for some great scenery rides in North GA. as well. I live in Acworth on NW side of ATL. We may try a two day ride north. It will be a leisurely ride. May stay over night somewhere and come back the following day. They're from the Minnesota flatlands and I'd like to show him some great mountain scenery.

I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have.
