Hey All:
Was wondering if anyone from the Cleveland, OH area ever roadtripped to York, PA. I know all about the factory tour. I was wondering what kind of scenery, roads, valleys, mountains, etc.. you come across making that trip. Don't know much about PA and wanted to take a short road trip through the state. Any recommendations? Thanks much...

 

Just took a road trip to york last month from columbus ohio.&nbsp\\; Man you have many options for a nice ride.&nbsp\\; State route 6 across the top of the state is very cool from what i hear i didn't get to make that ride.

 

When we went out we just went 70 out of columbus to the penn turnpike.&nbsp\\; Now when we came back we went 30 and that was a nice ride and senic.&nbsp\\; now if i was going to york from cleveland i would probably take rt 6 either all the way to 15 then 15 south or

 

take 6 to 45 then 120 all the way down takes you past hyner view very nice or take 322 when you come into Pa all the way to york.&nbsp\\; You have ton of options all great any questions let me know

6 across the northern part of Penn is great.
219 runnind north/south from DuBois to Somerset.
45 from Lewisburg to Altoona area.
44 from Coudersport s/e towards Milton area.
and any&nbsp\\; of the roads thru the Allegeny National Forest.

We rode from WNY to York, Pa last year at this time and went down through Pa and picked up Rt 30 East and had a great ride.

 

Rocky, as Jeff said take Rt 219 out of Dubois, get on 879 to Rt 453. 453 is a real fun road with alot of twisties. I just rode it last week and had a blast. You might take 45 over to Rt 322 to go into York.
&nbsp\\;Rt 6 over to 15&nbsp\\;is also nice, especially through Potter county. I rode it a few weeks ago, it was very cool riding in the morning with the fog lifting off the mountains.If you decide to go this way, stop at Northern Tier HD. It's a real nice shop. Enjoy. Timmer
