There are some air quality issues there at the moment due to the Cascade Fire just outside of Red Lodge:

I just wanted to thank those that replied to my request for information.
Especially faber and itilman, the ride was epic and went exactly as planned. We left Cooke City at 6:00am and returned back at 11:00am. Very little traffic except on the downhill side of BT. We stopped at the cafe in Red Lodge for breakfast and got gas on the way out of town.
Can't thank you guys enough for helping it was a great part of the whole Sturgis trip.
Faber - the suggested stops in Yellowstone worked out perfect on both sides of the the park.
