Doing the fly and ride from Frankfurt next month. Leaving on July 10th, returning on the 24th. Lived in Germany for three years in the late 80's and have been back several times visiting the wife's relatives. Have never ridden over there but always wanted to. We are going with a couple that&nbsp\\;has relatives in Germany and Italy. Most of us speak German and one is very fluent in Italian. The planned route is below. Not a lot of time before we leave, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of if anyone would like to meet up with us and ride along.

Day 1 -&nbsp\\; Depart Orlando, arrive Frankfurt, pick up motorcycles, ride to Bretten, Germany

Day 2 -&nbsp\\; Depart Bretten, ride through Black Forest with stops at Mummelsee, Triberg, and other
&nbsp\\; scenic sites. Overnight in Gottmadingen.

Yes, does look like the weather's been kinda screwy over there lately. The last three times we've been to Germany have been in May and every time the weather was good until we went into the Black Forest, then the skies opened up. Never did get any good views. We were hoping that going a couple of months later would be better and of course the weather would be better for doing the Splugen pass from Switzerland into Italy. If I can get internet access I'll try to post our progress and pics.
