Fatboy RoadTrip, Route66, Sedona, Grand Canyon 700 Miles
Hey all, though I would post my trip from last Thursday thru Saturday. Trailered my FB to Chandler Arizona, picked up my brother-in-law and wife, and did a 700 mile road trip thru Northern Arizona.
We rode up to Sedona from Chandler, and set up base camp there. The west east part covered a good portion of Route 66 in Arizona, Kingman, Williams, Flagstaff, and the north/south part of our trip covered the southern rim of the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, and down to the Prescott Valley. We had a really good time.

The big horn was actually on the South Face of the Grand Canyon near the Hopi Ruin. I thought I saw a kid playing in the bushes just below the wall, and low and behold this dude poped out. Pucker factor 10. But did get to squeeze off some pic's. Yes the whether was fantastic, and you are absolutely right, Jerome is the twlight zone! I'm going to have to return there someday and look deeper into that place. Real spooky.

Yes, we did go thru Oak Creek Canyon to Flagg, and I agree, it's absolutely breathtaking. I did OC at 9:00 am going north, and 5pm coming back. Had the oppertunity to stop many times and shut my bike off and just breath. I know you understand what I'm saying soulfish. Just me, my bike, and "the road". Could smell people perking there morning coffee from a mile away.

That's a great run man! It's cool that you got to experience it. I live here, so I've made that trip a few times, and it's always good! I'll bet your weather was perfect up there, too!
Hell, we need to see what we can before forest fires torch the rest of the beautiful country up there [sm=sigh.gif]
