Saw a couple of guys yesterday riding in shorts, tank tops. 103 here.
I just can't get out in those temps.

Mrs Notgrownup and I are leaving NC headed up to Michigan. We do want to ride the tunnel of trees and mackinaw bridge. Not sure what way we will come back down th west side of the lake or not. Depends on how much time we make the first 2 days. Any must sees up there you can recommend?

A few of the towns on the east side of the lake were beautiful. I think one was Holland, MI. One has flowers planted continuously along the edge of the road all the way through town. The other had very large hanging plants on posts every 50 ft on each side of the road.

The Great River Road was a nice ride.

We stopped at a fruit stand and I got a quart of MI cherries. They were delicious.

The park in downtown Holland has beautiful flower plantings. I was there in July. Definitely worth stopping when flowers are in bloom.

Aware. My parents have attended. I would like to, but not on a motorcycle. I suspect the traffic is more than I want to deal with on two wheels.
