Default Beartooth highway (US 212)

Here a video I made from my ride on the Beartooth highway starting in Red Lodge MT.

We were fortunate to have great weather for it, cool and a little windy but nothing too treacherous.

Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful country. I plan on riding this area from Missouri this summer.

Greatest ride in all of America. At least the best one I've seen by a long way.

We rented a cabin just north of Red Lodge last summer, and spent a week riding the pass, seeing Yellowstone, over to Cody, up to Belfry, and back to Red Lodge. Fuel up by eating breakfast at Prindy's Place every morning. Perfect weather at the cabin, but hit with freezing rain at the top. Good Times!

We rode it in July 2023 from Cody Wyoming. Definitely a bucket list ride. Our weather was perfect as well. There was snow in the shady spots.

First time riding it weather was in the 30's and snow everywhere. Next 2 times it was clear and cool. It is my wife's favorite road.

Very nice ride for sure. We did a 2 week trip based out of Billings

Our Ride:
Billings to Red Lodge to Beartooth to Chief Joseph hwy to Cody, WO to Yellowstone through the Grand Tetons to Jackson Hole, WY. Leaving Jackson Hole we went into Idaho and followed the Salmon river North to Glacier state park, then back to Billings.

Everyday was beautiful. Will never forget that trip .

I had planned on riding the bear tooth about nine years ago but it fell through. Hopefully I will get another chance to do it before I get too old to do it.

I have done all that, but not in the same trip. Man, that is an awesome ride.
