Me and a buddy are looking to do the Ozarks for the festival in September as well. Going to start with Beale St bikenight on the 20th and head there the following morning.
You have to do breakfast or lunch at Ozark Café in Jasper. Country fried steak for lunch. Agree with Oark General Store. Bubba's BBQ in Eureka Springs. You got to drink a beer at the Cat House in Eureka Springs. I think I got the names right. Lots of good rides and maps available.
Thanks for the information. Leaving on Friday. We'll be staying in Conway, though it's not central to the good rides, but it will take a couple hours off of the trip home.

We're leaving Conway, AR for home on 9/6 ,and I'm still contemplating if I want to spend that night in Memphis for bike night. Was there for it once before and it was a blast, but my buddy has to be home Wednesday night. He lives in VA, I'm in Ohio, so we would part ways in either Memphis or Nashville.
Conway to Memphis across I 40?
Little Rock to Memphis is often FULL of semis and plagued with accident delays. You might check that before you try to go that way.
This is a backroad using nice ride up to the hills. From Pelsor or Sand Gap you can cross hwy 7 on 123 back to Hagarville or take 7 north or south??
Gas is in Hector Dover or Jasper. There is a little station on 7 who da thought it. Not much out there. Hwy 65 has some nice overlooks and passing lanes but a lot of traffic.
Found this post and though I will follow up as I plan to visit this area at the end of May. Plan to go from Chicago. Not sure I will make my way all the way to AR but plan for Missouri so if anyone have some good suggestion I would greatly appreciate it.

In Missouri, the area south of I-44, west of I-55, east of the Springfield area, and north of Hwy 160, is just eat up with good roads, and great scenery. Hwy 160 is a nice rode.
