Stop in at the Outlaw in Ouray.

Pretty good food and listen to the ivory being tickled....

It can snow any day of the year above 5000 feet… Just ask Jack…😂

In elevation, you have to be prepared for sleet or snow anytime of the year. It’s snowed on me on beartooth pass and pikes peak in July. I’ve also ridden the same highways in summer in short sleeves in the 60’s.

… Just don’t expect to buy a Harley Davidson there… You got to go down to Durango to get one of those…

Mid September it will be green and you might start to see fall colors.




We use to camp in Silverton when the mine was still operating.
Off roading

When I was up at the top of the summit and pulled over to take a picture… There was a road there That went up the mountain even further… I wondered where it went… Now I know… Red Mountain town…
