Default Twisted Sisters

Me and my bro rode out to the sisters. Left from Louisiana there for a few days then back home. Top 3 best rides we’ve done so far.

I think those were on FM337, I cant be 100% sure though. We rode all three in each direction, we took our time and it lasted a couple of days.
We are planning the dragon and surrounding areas next.

EXCELLENT!!!

Be sure to get this PIX. It is right there at Deal's Gap as you ride in.
.

.
And if you are interested my friend, if you go north on foothills Parkway up to Maryville, the Hampton Inn there (if they are still doing it) offers 30% off their price to stay the night if you mention you are doing the Dragon.

ENJOY! And don't forget the PIXs. Oh! Almost forgot, as you may already know, when you ride the Dragon you will see photographers along the road. There are several regulars there that take your picture. If you go to their website it and look up your make/model bike the day and time you rode the Dragon, you will see excellent photos you may want to purchase from them.

I am excited for you guys!

Yes that I know of.

Killboy and 129Photos. BOTH IMO are =ly as good. Killboy has been doing it longer that I am aware of but both very GOOD!

To the OP, abt half way thru, there is a good place to stop and take PIXs. Be careful, as u pull off here, the road curves down quite a bit. I almost fell over.

Abt halfway point.

I am 2nd from the right. We are wearing our DEA shirts.

Inside Deals Gap. I sent them a T of my brothers but the health inspector said to take them down. So mine was not put up.

Tree of Shame.

Damagelnc, what routes did yall take getting out there? I'm looking at a trip out there soon, and plan to stay away from Houston. Nice pics. Looks like you 2 had a great time.

You didn't ask me, but....

I would look at crossing north central LA. Jena. Natchitoches. Cross toledo bend west of Many or at the dam. Lufkin area? College station.
Hills and some scenery this way. A lot faster on I 10 but... Texas speed limits are NOT 55, just sayin. Dodge Austin and San Antonio like you wanna.

Another maybe to just avoid Houston... south at Winnie TX down to the coast. Thru Crystal Beach, ferry over to Galveston. On through to Freeport.

these won't save you time. Longer in fact, but I would enjoy them more
