Ride from Airbnb to next airbnb
#21
I’ve definitely had similar experiences with Airbnb during our motorcycle trips. My partner and I have found that staying in unique places like cabins or houses often beats traditional hotels. For instance, on a recent trip, we stayed at a charming spot called the Blue Mountain Hotel. It was fantastic—secure parking for our bikes and a cozy place with great privacy. It really added to the adventure.
I think it would be awesome to create a network for motorcycle enthusiasts to find Airbnb spots that are biker-friendly. Being able to ride from one cool, motorcycle-friendly place to another sounds like a blast. If this thread takes off, it could be a great way to share experiences and connect with fellow riders.

I’ve never used Airbnb yet . I thought about lookin into it for my trip I 3 weeks but I like to get up in the morning and get a coffee from the lobby and a snack for breakfast and leave. Hampton Inn is our favorite but like Other well known brands as well. For 1 nighters I think Airbnb wouldn’t work for me.

Usually when travelling I am just passing through. Getting in hour before dark, head out in morning.
When lookiing for a motel I want close to the interstate, and walking distance to bars and restaurants . So I am guessing this would not work.
Not saying I never would, time change. I suppose it would be more for the destination, than the ride

A great idea! While I don't do Air B&B's , it's really not conducive to 1 nighters. I do try and find no name hotel/motels cheaper but still nice and clean.
Recently 8/23 I stayed at The Jackson Lodge near Mt. Washington NH for $218 when many chain hotels were sold out in the area. Clean, friendly people, bigger room and an Irish Pub right down the street. I paid more at a disgusting Super8 in Plattsburgh last week. Also a great little old motel in PA. last year. I'll have to look up where it was but very biker friendly.
