For new riders looking for a road and old riders who want to take a break from posting...
Nice indept video of great roads around the country for those that haven't experienced them.

He doesn't mention much speed limits and feasible speeds way below 55. Natchez trace and Blue ridge I know are lower limits with rangers on the watch. Probably some of the others. It was summer when we did needles but it was pretty steady traffic. We stopped a lot anyway and didn't mind... just saying. He did mention best least visited times to see some of them

Done Yosemite but not sure about the Kings Canyon roads
Done Estes Park/Pike's Peak and Mt. Evans but not sure about the "Peak to Peak Byway".
Denied entrance to Mt Washington in 2019 due to weather conditions so that'll remain on my "to do" list

If you start on the northern end be sure stop for breakfast or an early lunch at the Loveless Cafe.
Allow time for stops and sightseeing.

The Skyline Drive is a toll road and the posted speed is 35MPH.
Weather conditions on both the SLD and the BRP can determine your safe speed.
The last time we did the SLD (105 miles) took us 5-1/2 hours!
Rain, wind (and especially fog) had us "hunkered down" for a while and on one occasion I was riding through one of the "pull-offs" and my wife passed me because she couldn't see my tail light!
Back then the road had a fresh layer of gravel and the deer were moving a lot (due to the fog I suppose) and most of the time when we were moving it was at 25-30 MPH!
We were headed toward the BRP to continue south but we "bailed" at Waynesboro, VA and hit the "super-slab" and continued to fight the rain all the way to Gastonia, NC where we called it a day.

Done all on this list with a few exceptions:

Done Estes Park/Pike's Peak and Mt. Evans but not sure about the "Peak to Peak Byway".
Denied entrance to Mt Washington in 2019 due to weather conditions so that'll remain on my "to do" list
