Thanks folks for your input on WV suggestions...I am trailering my daughters household contents from NY to Mississippi. Was looking for the safest route towing a trailer, while taking into consideration mileage. I didnt want to run straight south through va...so Ive come up with the beloe route..Any thoughts, comments or suggestions on how to improve this route? Thanks, Jim

Thanks folks for the input - so speaking with my daughter...the goal here is to nock off a few states she hasnt visited to date....so can anyone comment on the following route (taking into consideration that Ive got a big enclosed trailer attached to my truck)....NY to Mississippi

What size trailer are you towing

Have you ever gone straight across Virginia - I have to tell you, if you do, you will find this very scenic and easy to maneuver your trailer.

 

why not just take 81s to 40 west, it’s a straight shot to Memphis and then just a short run south to Oxford?
