Years ago if you took advantage of that sale, they also gave you a map case/sleeve by Wolfman which was a nice bonus. They don't do that anymore.

About a month ago I realized Butler maps was in the same complex where I store my motorcycles. I was finishing the battery removal on the bikes and decided to stop in as I was leaving.

I thought it was simply a business office, but the nice young lady took me to the back and showed me the racks of maps. She stated they were on sale...6 for $10 each. So, I picked up 6 to carry on my bikes. They have 2 dedicated to just Rt. 66, which is on my bucket list, and I grabbed them. Then I picked up 2 national maps (an east and a west). A Wyoming and Colorado map rounded off the six.

I'll likely utilize the maps on the Indian since it doesn't have a gps. I still like and use maps.

The maps are water and tear resistant. I'd recommend them if you still enjoy using maps. They're catered to riders, both off road and touring maps are available.

We like to eat at the diner on the river at Mexican Hat. Be sure to stop at Gooseneck State Park on the way to Moki Dugway. Muley Point is a definite must!

MB my friend, there is a thread around these here parts somewhere abt who still uses the paper maps. I was astonished at the HIGH numbers of chaps here still using them. Likely older farts of course but nonetheless.....

FWIW: A few yrs back I was in AAA wondering if their maps (paper maps) are still in demand. The 1 gal I talked with said yuppers for sure. Sort of surprised me.

Two of my bikes don't have a gps and cell service can be spotty where I ride so maps make sense. Plus, they're great for when you have a change of plans.

Maybe it is an old fart thing....not that I'm old. Lol. Well, ok...I'm retired.
