Great River Road

You can’t miss Hwy 35 in Wisconsin from Prairie Du Chein to Prescott, WI, absolutely gorgeous with river views unparalleled. Prescott is where the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers meet. From Prescott, 35 goes all the way to Superior/Duluth on mostly 2 lane and misses Twin Cities. From Duluth, Hwy 2 to Fargo...

Not sure who this is directed to, but if me... COVID ruined my plans. No trip to Fargo.
But! I'm leaving on the 15th for a round trip for Florida to Canada and back. Gonna do the NEBDR south to North, then the MABDR north to south. 👍

I know this is old and I saw you cancelled plans.
But just to vouch for others, North of St.Louis is where it really does get pretty.
Especially in the driftless region of Wisconsin. Basically once you get between Prarie Du Chien, Wi and Winona, MN, take any road in Wisconsin with Letters as their name(O,G,Y,Z,X,etc) and just plan a loop within those roads. You can not go wrong. Bluffs and curvy roads all around you.
Something no one has mentioned, but the River Road on the Iowa side starting / Ending in Dubuque(CLoser to Balltown Iowa)/La Crosse(As Rt 16) is pretty magnificent.
