The last time we were there they were locked across Highway 70 from where they are now.

It was 84 degrees when we returned at 7:30pm and the temperature was 84 degrees. It was a WONDERFUL day and the bike ran like a top!

Here is a text message the Carolina Girl sent me yesterday.

"I love you. So looking forward to our weekend and tomorrow's ride".

We try to enjoy ourselves.

I just got off the phone with one of my long distance riding buddies who also signed up the the Carolina Challenge. We are planning two overnight weekend rides to complete the remaining dealership stops in Georgia and South Carolina. We are free to go at any time but weather will be the key factor. Hitting a little rain is no big deal. But a wash out weekend will be a deal breaker. Stay tuned for the completion of this challenge and our next ride which I am working on which will include "Beans"! LOL

Yeah me to. Hopefully you had an even better time at the coast than what we had. Dry ride home I hope!

 

Had a good ride down, and fun rides Saturday and Sunday. Got a little riding in Monday between Claudette and storms that came through later in the day. I'm one of those fair weather riders, so put off the trip home until today. I went right past Shelton's (Goldsboro and Smithfield) and Tobacco Road on the way back today.
