Well time got away from us. One of the industry specialist I work with lives between St. Augustine and Deland. He had dinner plans setup at Salt Life in St. Augustine at 6:30pm. We jumped on I-95 North and let the wind blow through our hair and enjoyed a great dinner with our friends. Salt Life is really cool especially with the outdoor seating on the roof. Finally got some Key Lime Pie! LOL

Bedtime came too soon. With rain and cooler temps moving back into NC we decided to get up early and back a one day run back home. Got up at 5:30am and after a quick breakfast we were loaded and rolling north. We hit I-95 in no time and bikes and trailers were already heading out. We rolled into Georgia with three bikes from NC with their cruise on 80mph. The miles clicked away and we soon lost them for a fuel and bathroom stop. Didn't take long to hook up with a couple of other bikes and keep rolling. All was good until we got up into SC. About 50 miles before I-26 the traffic which was already heavy began backing up. Several stops and a couple of miles at 25 mph was enough to have me looking for the next exit. We jumped off and ran west until we found Hwy 21. Rode it all the way to Columbia. Got on I-77 and traffic was rolling and we made great time even through Charlotte. We arrived back home at 4:30pm. We were both tired, unloaded the bike, grabbed some dinner and crashed! It's tough getting old. We got a great nights rest and woke up at 9am Sunday morning. Had breakfast and missed church. I completely washed and detailed the bike this afternoon. top to bottom, front to back. Pulled the bags, side covers and seat. Polished the chrome, waxed all the paint and put the bike up on the J & S jack and checked the tires and cleaned the wheels.

For those that call me a Harley Fanboy I am proud to wear the badge. Our bike performed flawlessly. It puts a lot of smiles on our face, gets compliments everywhere we go and made the trip fun. The total trip mileage was 1205.5 and the ride home was 487.7 miles. The bike clicked over 26k miles on the ride. I checked the engine oil and tranny oil and both were spot on where they should be. Yes I am very happy with my Harley.

Total Saturday mileage from St. Augustine back home.

Total round trip mileage.

A few extra pictures. I still have a lot to pull off the GoPro. Stay tuned and thanks for the encouraging words that make this fun to share!

Last Saturday evening the wife and I went for a 32 mile round trip ride to a nearby town for dinner out at the Sonic! We enjoyed the ride, the weather was nice and the food is what it is.

That said we have made a personal decision to "NOT RIDE" for the next two up to four weeks becuase of the Chinese Corona Virus. At this time we feel the importance to just stay home period. We are not hurting anyone while riding but it's hard to enjoy the ride and we are concerned about safety, places to eat and use the restrooms. Most importantly if we were in an accident we don't want to burden the health care industry and we don't want to be in the hospital.

Not a suggestion at all. Do what you feel is best for you. Just sharing a decision we have made as of today. I look forward to getting back on our ride schedule in the near future.

Maybe I can get my long honey do list under control around the house as we can enjoy getting out with this crisis is over.

On page #8, post #77 I listed links to many other rides we have done to keep them all in one thread. I realized after reviewing that I put the wrong link in for the York Factory Open House 2018.

Correct link to ride report:

CR ... quit a few folks “ride” vicariously through our adventures... please keep your thread active by finding pictures you haven’t posted up, and maybe even some repeats... and tell us some stories... your damn good at both... Jeff, you do it also... and I will... the crew needs something to think about other than C-19. It will be good for us also.
