Default Dy #3 Beaver Bar

Coming to you live from the Beaver Bar.

This rally has finally taken off. SBB is packed and standing room only.

We have enjoyed sitting in the rockers out front and watching the people while enjoying a cold one.

I, for one, enjoy reading these reports and post. I do not think anyone has to feel guilty for being out and about.....

I was watching a news story about some impacted people who said that several dozens fools were riding by their house taking photos like they were zoo animals....how sad...

If you are not directly helping you should stay away.....like Cletus and the chopper....now that guy is helping....

The Carolina Girl has really enjoyed this trip. It makes me happy knowing she is having a wonderful time. She has enjoyed Belinda more this ride than any we have done. The suspension is dialed in perfectly and the stereo sounds awesome.

The sound competition was going on at the BB and these guys have some serious equipment.

The trike ahead of the yellow bike won his class.

This trike was simply stunning!

Shaken, not stirred!

Elvis is in town!

Default Friday Day #4

I'm up early after turning in early last night.

We enjoyed a BBQ dinner at the Gracious Pig across from where we are staying.

The temperatures and weather overall this trip has been spectacular. So blessed to be able to pivot 180 and enjoy this event.

Today is the ride back home. Tonight and Saturday will be the biggest days of the event here in MB. They blocked off the entire covered parking deck yesterday here for bikes. After dinner 12 more bikes rolled in. It went from 4 bikes Tuesday to at least 40 last night. Everyone is here for a big, long weekend.

If I did not have to travel Sunday for business we would not be leaving today. But we are looking forward to being back in our own bed tonight.

Thanks for following along.

Default Day #4 Back Home

We are back home after a very nice ride today. Thank you Lord for another wonderful trip with my lovely wife. Thank you for safe roads, beautiful scenery, perfect temperatures, good food and so many friendly people.

Today we ran straight home which was 224 miles.

The one stop we made outside of fuel.was at Lexington BBQ for a sandwich. Delicious!!!!!

The British Car Show is starting today in MB. We had several Austin Healey's at the hotel last night. I visited with a couple from Charlotte that were driving a sweet little convertible. Nice people and they were enjoying the bikes.

We enjoyed a cup of coffee on the balcony before rolling out. We did not wear anything but short sleeve T's the entire trip. I carried a light jacket but never looked at it.

Some of the sweet bikes downstairs this morning.

It's a Honda Grom.

Total trip mileage was : 568 Miles

It was a long lonesome highway leaving out this morning on a Friday. There were not many of us leaving.

On the other hand we probably passed 150 to 200 bikes heading toward MB between MB and Bennettsville. Lots of people with long weekend plans, smiles on their faces and money in their pockets (I hope) !

That's all folks. Thanks for riding along.

Lexington BBQ is my favorite. I've planned my trips with them in route.
