Bike Show Continues…
There were a lot of vendors at the bike show. One of the largest displays was from Rickrak.
We even purchased some Vision X spot lights from them for the Street Glide Special.
Walking through they had the usual Legions suspension display, but WOW, look at this new venture with Pro-Action!
I was excited about seeing this. I visited Rickrak about two years back now when I was looking for a sound system for our 21 SGS. It was a pleasure meeting Shane and talking with him. Super nice guy and they have a really nice operation. Our conversation moved from sound to front fat tire kits and suspension. At that time he was promoting only Legions. I shared that I was a real fan of Pro-Action. Much to my surprise he shared he used to sell Pro-Action and really likes it. As a reseller there was just not enough money in it compared to Legions. I fully understood that.
Fast forward and I am standing at their booth Wearing a Pro-Action hat. The salesperson comes up asking if I have any questions and begins talking about Pro-Action quality. He quickly pointed out the much larger rod compared to Legions. I laughed and pointed to my hat. Yeah you are preaching to the choir man. I know they are far superior. I made the mistake of buying Legions and learned first hand they are superior!
Glad to see Pro-Action and Rickrak together again!

Dry and warm with Temps in the low 50's in NC. We had a three to four hour window before the rain returned.
The Carolina Girl and I took a 42 miles round trip ride the Darwins in Hamptonville for breakfast. Good food and service at a very fair price.
We returned home and I decided to take Belinda for a spin. I let her warm up good and I rolled onto I-40 and twisted the throttle. This is one Street Glide that is NOT governed to under 100 mph! Don't tell the Carolina Girl I was bad.
I got 16 miles in and started seeing sprinkles on my face shield and returned home quickly.
It is just amazing how different these two bikes are yet so closely related. The 12 inch handle bars really feel short compared to the 16 inch on the RG. I think I need to change them!
It felt good to get back out and ride even a short distance.

Last Saturday, January 13th, Lincoln, Maggie and Molly of The Carolina’s Full Throttle Magazine held their 2nd annual bike Show at the Greensboro Coliseum.
The first one last January was excellent. We had a great time and have been looking forward to this year. I’m happy to report that this year was even better!
I’ll start with the Carolina girl’s favorite picture of the event:

Last night out of nowhere the Carolina Girl asked if there were any comments from her picture with Billy Lane. I said no, not a single one. I guess no one likes BL like you! She was disappointed.
