Default quickie

Great little quickie ride yesterday. Left Golden, CO., up US 6 to I-70 to US 40 and over Berthoud Pass. Berthoud is finally finished with it's construction and widening however I still left about a 1/2 pound of pegs on some of the hairpin turns. Coming down the back of the pass followed, only for a short while, a couple of fellows on bikes, out of town plates, obviously scared to death of the road but riding slowly and sanely until the bottom. Sorry boys but I had to pass you!

Lunch in Winter Park, then up to Kremmling, CO., for highway 9 to Dillon. Beautiful ride next to Green Mountain Reservoir however almost bought is when some jerk in a VW crossed the double yellow line oncomingand just about gave me a head on.

Returned to Denver over Loveland Pall which still has some significant snow fields up there.

About 240 miles, not counting the verticle(;=))

That is a nice little ride. I think one day I will take that route. I will be doing PPHOG 5 in 1 and you said there is still snow on Loveland Pass?? I guess I should carry some cold weather riding gear. Thanks for the info in advance. HAGO! Remi
