Added to the above items for my long trips small kitchen fire extinguisher, paper map, pen, knife, matches, beef jerky, 5 hour energy. 800 Motrin, thermos of ice water and some times a 9mm.
5 great trips in 5 years
shortest trip 1250 miles 6 days
longest trip 4300 miles 13 days

Heres my loaded up bike, and my 3p tent


For a 2-3 week trip
Camping gear
- Marmot 3p tent
-sleeping bag, rated to 40 degrees
-Therma-rest air mattress
-Fleece liner for sleeping bag
-extra fleece blanket
-3 tarps 5x7
-Helinox chair
-small lantern

My kitchen bag
-spoon fork combo
-instant coffee, sugar
-Granola bars
-Drink concentrate
-Jetboil stove, extra fuel canister
-coffee mug
-small pot for soup, instant oat meal

Clothes
-5 t-shirts, gruns, socks
-pair of light weight street shoes
-2 pair of glove-sweatshirt
-Thin LJ's never know when temps might drop
-long sleeve shirt
-shorts
-chaps

Personal
-Overnite bag, toothbrush etc
-towel
-sunglasses
-extra pair of glasses
-flipflops for showers

Misc
-Reading material
-Hat flashlight
-Paper map
-Leatherman
-phone charger
-extra batteries for flashlights

Bike related
-Toolkit
-compresser
-extra key
-half quart oil
-Micro start jump pack

Other than clothes, my bike is packed the same for around town or trips. I haven't been carrying rain gear lately , which will probably bite me at some point.
Last couple years added jump packs, at this point I only have one for bikes and that rotates. Can use for charging phones too.

But my tools, are on the bike at all times.
