Default What pillow are you tent campers using?

Just ordered a new tent for use next year since my old smaller one is now very stinky. When I camped a few weeks ago doing the dragon I didn't have much packed for a one night trip so I was able to just shove a regular pillow into my small Harley luggage rack bag. Several longer trips next year especially Sturgis will not leave much room. Looking at Inflatables on Amazon now but the assortment is huge and all appear cheap Chinese junk. Any help here picking out a comfortable pillow for bike use?

I have been using the Nemo Fillo luxury pillow for 4 years now. Great camping pillow but pricey.

I got a good one from REI but can not remember what brand and I also can not find it. I took one of the ones from Amazon that was probably Chinese. It leaked on my trip out west this year. Stopped in at Sportsmen's Warehouse and bought a Klymit. It appears to be a good one.

For short stays, overnight, etc. while on the road...Jacket wrapped in a sweatshirt works.
If I'm setting up somewhere for several days, Sturgis for example...buy a couple of cheap pillows at the local Wal-Mart for me and the Ol-Lady-Du-Jour (whoever she might be..) once we get there, and drop'em in the trash barrel when we leave. MONEY WELL SPENT.

one you are used to can be compacted in a heavy duty trash bag. squish it down, get most of the air out and seal the bag, or a compression strap type camp bag. Those can be had for $5ish bucks on sale.

If packing space is a concern, get the Thermarest pillow case and stuff with your clothes.
